Pushover

Overview

Pushover delivers simple push notifications to your phone and desktop. OKStatus posts to the Pushover API on every status change, with priority raised for DOWN. Available on the Pro plan and above.

Setup

1. In Pushover, note your User Key (on the dashboard). For a team, create a Delivery Group and use its key.
2. Create an Application/API Token (Pushover → Create an Application) and copy its token.
3. In OKStatus, go to Alerting → Channels → Add a channel → Pushover.
4. Paste the Application token and the User or group key.
5. Click Test, then attach the channel to your monitors.

Notifications

• Down → high priority (1); Degraded / Up → normal (0); Paused → low priority (-1).
• Each notification includes the monitor name, the failing URL, the region, and a link back to the monitor.
