Mattermost

Overview

Mattermost receives status updates through an incoming webhook (the same Slack-compatible payload OKStatus sends to Slack). Available on the Pro plan and above.

Setup

1. In Mattermost, go to Integrations → Incoming Webhooks → Add Incoming Webhook. (If you don’t see Integrations, an admin may need to enable incoming webhooks in the System Console.)
2. Choose the target channel and Save. Copy the Webhook URL.
3. In OKStatus, go to Alerting → Channels → Add a channel → Mattermost.
4. Paste the Webhook URL.
5. Click Test, then attach the channel to your monitors.

Notes

• Self-hosted Mattermost works — use its DNS name (a literal private IP is rejected; an in-cluster DNS name is fine).
• Messages are colour-coded by state and include the monitor name, URL, and region.
