Scheduled Reports
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Scheduled reports are the recurring counterpart to the instant report builder: instead of generating a PDF on demand, OKStatus builds it for you on a cadence you choose and emails it straight to your recipients.
Scheduled reports are available on the Max and Enterprise plans.
Create a schedule
Section titled “Create a schedule”- Go to Reports → Scheduled reports tab.
- Click New schedule.
- Give it a name — it’s used in the email subject and the PDF filename.
- Choose a frequency: weekly, monthly, or quarterly.
- Set the SLA target and which sections to include (incidents, performance stats, SSL status, domain expiry) — same options as the instant report.
- Select the monitors to cover.
- Add one or more recipient email addresses.
- Save.
How sending works
Section titled “How sending works”Each schedule is checked once a day. It fires once enough time has passed since its last send — roughly 7 days for weekly, 30 for monthly, 91 for quarterly. There’s no fixed calendar anchor (e.g. “always the 1st”): if a schedule is created today, its first report goes out today, and every following one lands on the same rolling cadence from there.
Managing schedules
Section titled “Managing schedules”The Scheduled reports list shows every schedule for your organization, paginated, with:
- Enable / Disable — pause a schedule without deleting it; it picks back up counting from where it left off once re-enabled.
- Edit — change the name, frequency, monitors, recipients, or content options.
- Send test — generate and send the report right now, to the saved recipients or to a one-off address, without affecting the schedule’s actual send timing.
- Delete — remove the schedule permanently.
Best practices
Section titled “Best practices”- Use Send test after creating or editing a schedule to confirm delivery before waiting for the real cadence.
- Keep the recipient list to the people who actually act on it — anyone can be added or removed later without recreating the schedule.
- Prefer monthly for client-facing SLA reporting and weekly for internal team visibility during a launch or incident-prone period.
