The European alternative to UptimeRobot.

Website, API and server monitoring run by European providers only, with checks from several regions on every plan, PDF SLA reports and status pages. Here is how the two compare, including where UptimeRobot is the better pick.

In fairness

When UptimeRobot is the better choice

Pick the tool that fits your case. These are the ones where we would point you to UptimeRobot.

Lots of free monitors
50 monitors on UptimeRobot's free plan, against 5 here. For a hobby fleet of small sites, that is hard to beat.
Checks every 15 seconds
UptimeRobot's Scale plan checks every 15 s. OKStatus stops at 30 s.
Heartbeat and UDP monitors
Cron-job heartbeats and UDP checks are in UptimeRobot's dashboard. OKStatus has no UDP check and no heartbeat in its dashboard yet.
A SOC 2 report for procurement
If your buyer requires a SOC 2 report, UptimeRobot provides one on request. OKStatus has no third-party certification yet.
The difference

What you get with OKStatus

The reasons teams in Europe move their monitoring here.

European providers only
The platform, database, email and probes run at Scaleway, OVHcloud and UpCloud: European companies, outside the reach of the US Cloud Act.
Several regions from the free plan All plans
Each check runs from several regions and alerts only when most of them agree, so one bad network path does not wake you up.
More than websites
Databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis) and mail servers (SMTP, IMAP) on every plan, gRPC from Pro, AI model endpoints from Max.
SLA reports your clients can read All plans
A PDF SLA report on every plan, with uptime computed on the majority rule, and status pages with your own domain from Pro.

Yes, with the migration script in the docs: it reads your monitors with UptimeRobot's API and recreates them in OKStatus (Max plan, Full API key). On Free or Pro, its dry run lists exactly what to recreate in the dashboard.

Your first monitor in under a minute.

Free plan, no card. Hosted and operated in Europe.
